MOIT/EVN Ready, DPPA Active (2026)

IEC 61215 + IEC 61730 required (we provide). MOIT (Ministry of Industry and Trade) approval for grid-connected systems. EVN (Electricity of Vietnam) interconnection approval. TCVN (Vietnamese national standards) — IEC-equivalent accepted. For rooftop solar under current PPA regime: DPPA (Direct PPA) framework reactivated 2024. JUSTSOLAR provides full cert bundle.

Solar modules: 0-5% MFN duty. Under ASEAN-China FTA (ACFTA) with Certificate of Origin Form E: 0% duty. VAT: 10% on CIF + duty. For EU-origin modules (our Macedonia factory): EU-Vietnam FTA gives preferential treatment on certain lines. JUSTSOLAR provides Form E free for all Vietnam shipments — saves 5% duty automatically.

Vietnam has major solar module manufacturing (JA, Jinko, Trina, Boviet have local factories) — partly to avoid USA Section 201/301 anti-dumping. If your project is USA-destined, Vietnam-origin modules are preferred. For Vietnam domestic projects, China-origin modules remain cost-competitive due to ACFTA 0% duty and faster logistics. JUSTSOLAR can route SE Asia origin modules if USA destination requires it — ask Frank.

Shanghai → Ho Chi Minh (Cat Lai): 5-9 days direct service. Hai Phong: 6-9 days. Da Nang: 7-10 days. This is among the fastest international routes for solar panels globally. Add 5-7 days factory production if no stock. Total order-to-port: 2-3 weeks — very fast for project planning.

Vietnam's FIT era ended 2020 after massive build-out (22 GW). Currently operating under PDP8 (Power Development Plan 8, approved May 2023) — target ~34 GW solar by 2030. Current mechanism: DPPA (Direct Power Purchase Agreement, re-launched 2024) for C&I buyers. Rooftop self-consumption unchanged. Utility-scale via competitive auctions. JUSTSOLAR supplies both DPPA and rooftop C&I segments.

Established Vietnamese clients: 30% deposit + 70% against B/L copy possible. New clients: 30% + 70% before shipment. L/C accepted from Vietcombank, BIDV, VietinBank, Agribank, Techcombank, ACB for 5+ container orders. USD denominated always (VND not international). Trade Assurance (Alibaba) for smaller transactions.

We supply C&I EPCs in Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi, Da Nang, industrial zone rooftop (Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Bac Ninh). Factory-owned solar: Samsung Vietnam, Unilever Vietnam, VinGroup facilities.
