NRCS/SANS Ready, Factory-Direct (2026)

Yes. NRCS (National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications) mandates SANS 61215 and SANS 61730 certification for all solar modules sold in South Africa. JUSTSOLAR modules are tested to IEC 61215/61730 (equivalent to SANS) — we provide test reports and Letter of Authority pathway for NRCS compliance. Projects bidding in Renewable Energy IPP Programme (REIPPPP) require full compliance documentation.

Solar panels: currently 0% import duty under South Africa's tariff book (HS 8541.40.00). VAT: 15% on CIF value + duty. For REIPPPP projects, there may be additional SARS documentation. For C&I rooftop and residential, standard SARS nationalization applies.

Stock items: 5-7 days production + 35-40 days ocean freight to Durban = 6 weeks total from deposit to port arrival. Non-stock (build-to-order): add 3-4 weeks production. Add 1-2 weeks Durban port clearance + SARS documentation.

Absolutely. Our TOPCon modules are certified for harsh UV environments (IEC 61215 pass). For Northern Cape utility-scale (>40°C ambient), we recommend HJT 730W — better temperature coefficient (-0.24%/°C vs -0.29% TOPCon) means 3-5% more annual energy yield in hot conditions. For Cape Town / Gauteng moderate climate, standard TOPCon 600W/640W is optimal.

New clients: 30% T/T deposit + 70% before shipment. Established clients with track record: flexible 30%+70% against B/L. L/C accepted from Standard Bank, Absa, FirstRand (FNB), Nedbank, Investec for 5+ container orders. Payments in USD or EUR — Rand denomination not accepted internationally.
