Solar modules are currently 0-2% import duty under Egypt's renewable energy policy. VAT: 14%. Additional service fees: ~2-3%. Total nationalization: ~16-19% on CIF. For projects under EETC PPAs or SCZone (Suez Canal Economic Zone), duty exemptions often apply — consult your local partner.

Egypt is extremely well-positioned: Shanghai → Sokhna (Gulf of Suez) 16-20 days direct. Alexandria/Damietta via Suez transit: 18-22 days. This makes Egypt one of the fastest Middle East + Africa ports from China. Add 5-7 days factory production if no stock. Total: 4-5 weeks from order to Egyptian port.

Yes — we supply EPCs bidding into Benban Phase 3, EETC private PPAs, and post-FIT-era utility tenders. For projects requiring BNEF Tier-1 bankability strictly, we can co-supply. For C&I rooftop (Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Port Said industrial) and standalone mini-grids in Sinai/Upper Egypt, JUSTSOLAR directly qualifies.

Yes — Upper Egypt (Aswan, Luxor) has 2,100+ kWh/kWp/yr yield but summer ambient reaches 48°C. HJT with -0.24%/°C coefficient delivers ~4% more annual yield vs TOPCon in these conditions. For Delta region (Cairo, Alexandria), TOPCon 600W is sufficient — lower $/W with minimal yield compromise. We recommend per-project technology selection.

Egypt is flagged for higher FX risk (EGP devaluation cycles). New Egyptian clients: 100% T/T before shipment typical. Established clients with strong track record: 30% + 70% before shipment possible. L/C accepted from Commercial International Bank (CIB), Banque Misr, National Bank of Egypt (NBE), QNB Alahli, HSBC Egypt for 5+ container orders. USD denominated always (not EGP).
